Inside Garden

This mixed media work explores transformation through layers of paint, collage, and gilding. The lower half unfolds in deep blues and indigos, fractured into a mosaic-like surface where golden lines trace luminous pathways through the cracks.

From this terrain, vivid red botanical forms emerge, their delicate branches and blossoms contrasting with the dense, broken ground beneath. Rising into a pale, textured sky, the plants evoke both fragility and resilience, suggesting cycles of loss and renewal.

Through the interplay of fractured surfaces and organic growth, the work reflects on repair, regeneration, and the beauty that emerges from impermanence.
